"My goal is to completely automate plant production and research"

Eef van Zanten met Digna van Zanten

The second generation of WPS, Digna van Zanten

Eef van Zanten has achieved some wonderful innovations in horticulture over the past 50 years. With his smart outlook and practical approach, he managed to conquer the market.

Digna: "I am very proud of what my father achieved and exited to keep making innovations. My goal is to fully automate horticulture. I want to completely unburden growers in the area of automation and logistics. That way, they will have time for other things, both privately and professionally."

For the past 30 years, Eef van Zanten has been director/owner of WPS, realizing innovative solutions to logistical challenges, pot plant growers face on a daily basis.  As of July 1, Eef will step down and Digna will continue to innovate the horticultural sector in the Netherlands and beyond.
