Digna van Zanten, who has served as CEO since August 1, 2018, will be handing over her role to Conré Oostrom. This transition marks a new chapter for WPS, with a strong focus on international expansion.

Digna van Zanten, owner of WPS, has decided to fully dedicate herself to the strategic development and growth of the company. She will shift her focus from operational management to a more strategic role. “In recent years, we have tapped into new markets and achieved growth despite a stabilizing demand in the Netherlands. We are immensely proud of our growth in both international markets and the plant research sector. To realize our ambitions and maximize our potential, it is crucial to have the right people in the right positions. For me, this means focusing more on strategic matters while leaving the daily management in capable hands. I am looking forward to spending more time on customer relations and innovation. With Conré on board, we can accelerate our growth even further. The Dutch market remains of great importance to us, and we continue to work on innovations to take the next step in handsfree plant production,” said Digna.
